How the DNA Safeguarding process works:

1. Collect your child's DNA sample in the privacy of your home using the simple cotton cheek swab provided.

2. Mail your DNA sample to DNA Profiles of America in the envelope provided.

3. Your child's DNA sample will be preserved in a secure, climate-controlled facility for a period of 5 years.

4. We will send you a laminated wallet ID card with the toll-free number to our lab should an emergency arise.
