How the DNA Safeguarding process works:

1. Collect your  DNA sample in the privacy of your home using the simple cotton cheek swab provided.

2. Mail your DNA sample to DNA Profiles of America in the envelope provided.

3. Your DNA sample will be preserved in a secure, climate-controlled facility for a period of 5 years.

4. We will send you and ID card with the toll-free number to our lab should an emergency arise.

5. You will also receive a DNA Safeguarding certificate from out lab with your name and safeguarding number, as well as our full contact information.
