The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test
Frequently Asked Questions
The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test is a do-at-home gender detection kit for expectant
mothers who are just six weeks into pregnancy. Up until now, women have had to
wait until they are four or five months pregnant to find out the gender of their
babies through ultrasounds. The revolutionary Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test, based on fetal
DNA in the mother's blood, is much more accurate than ultrasounds and in general
costs much less. With this test a woman can be closer to her baby sooner.
Knowing your baby’s gender, you can prepare earlier for the delivery of your new
child.
How soon can I get my results?
If you have ordered our Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Express Test, your will be notified of your results 3 business days from the day we
received your blood spot. Samples received after 3:00pm PST will be counted as
received the following business day. So if we receive your sample on Monday at
noon, your results will be available Thursday by 5:00pm
PST.
If you have ordered Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Standard Test, you will be notified of your results 5 business days from the day we
received your blood spot.. Samples received after
3:00pm will be counted as received the following business day. So if your sample

Does the Gender DNA Test replace an Ultrasound?
No. The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test does not replace an Ultrasound. Ultrasounds are used for
medical or health reasons, not just checking the gender of a baby.
Since an ultrasound is not always accurate in telling the gender of a
baby and can take from four to six months to tell the gender, we offer
you the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test. For a woman that is excited to know the gender
of her baby early and wants accurate results, we recommend the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test. A woman would know in just six weeks with our
gender identity information and service. The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test is a
service and makes no medical or health claims.
How soon can a woman use the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test to determine her
baby's gender?
If a woman has been pregnant for six weeks, she is
eligible. Six weeks of pregnancy means six
weeks from conception.
How accurate is you Early Gender DNA Test?
The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test is the most accurate
gender test on the market. The test results are based directly on the baby's
DNA.
Does DNA Profiles of America guarantee the accuracy of the test
results?
The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test has a full money back guarantee. In the
incidence of a false result, simply provide a copy of the birth certificate of
your newborn, with an authorized matching name, to ensure the error.
What is the science behind your Early Gender DNA Test?
Recent scientific
discovery has found that there is fetal DNA in an expectant mother's blood. In a
natural process, fetal cells die and pass into the mother's bloodstream. As
these cells break down, their DNA is released into the mother's own circulatory
system (1). The cells decompose and free DNA is released into the mother's
bloodstream. With only a blood spot of the mother's blood, we can determine if
there is an Y-specific chromosomal DNA. If there is, the fetus is a male. If
there is no Y-specific chromosomal DNA, the fetus is a girl.
What is the process from start to finish for finding out the gender of a
mother's unborn child?
1. Purchase the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test blood spot collection
kit online or over the phone.
2. Using the kit, collect a blood
spot with a painless finger prick.
3. Fill out the authorization form and
return it with the blood sample in the pre-addressed, prepaid postage envelope
to our testing laborartory.
4. Payment for the lab service fee can be made online
or by money order.
Are there specific situations which could affect the accuracy of the early Gender DNA Test?
Yes. If a mother has a miscarriage, abortion, blood
transfusion, we do not recommend the the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test. In addition, there are a few
rare instances which could affect the accuracy of the test.
Sometimes a mother "starts out" with twin fetuses and then for some reason one
of the embryos is naturally reabsorbed and only one baby is born. This is called
a "vanishing" twin and is rare. In such rare cases, the gender test could be
compromised, and we would then give a full refund.
Can I use the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test if I have a multiple birth pregnancy?
Yes. You may
use the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test if you are expecting more than one child.
The Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Testwill not determine the number of boys or
girls you are expecting. However, since the Pink or Blue® Early Gender DNA Test detects the presence or absence of DNA from the
Y-chromosome, the test will let you know if you're expecting at least
one boy or only girls.
